Why this school is the right choice for a military member and/or their family
The Metropolitan School of Professional Studies at The Catholic University of America was founded to serve the higher education needs of the Washington, DC metropolitan area’s adult population. In recognition of our mission, we are making a special effort to include the active military and veteran population. Active military and veterans receive special tuition rates and we are part of the Yellow Ribbon program. We provide student services and a student development series as suggested by the Veteran’s Administration. Our current student veterans have just started a CUA chapter of Student Veterans of America.

MSPS offers accelerated, evening and online classes. We have a flexible undergraduate transfer credit policy and give credit for prior learning; including CLEP and DSST, as well as ACE military credits. Our faculty members are academically excellent, have strong professional backgrounds and are experienced working with adults.

MSPS is student centered. We are proud of our individualized approach to providing higher education opportunities to busy, adult, working students. We make it easy for students to succeed, without sacrificing educational quality. We are located on the Red line of the Metro.
